"About the work: Jan Stradtmann's photographic series shows the same Italian landscape on twelve consecutive days in October 2024, always different, always in transition. A place is never fixed. It is recreated with every change of light, every weather condition, every moment. And our perception constantly reshapes it: fog dissolves contours, sun sharpens them, twilight softens boundaries. The images of the series are presented as loose sheets in the folder, without a predetermined sequence. Each viewing opens up its own sequence and thus its own version of the place. A place that does not simply exist, but is experienced anew each time." (text: EDITION 502)
