Nightfall is the time of day when it starts to get dark. It is a transition into another stadium.

The series 'Nightfall' describes the exploration of my biographical background, based on the archive of family photographs and other documents. I live in the house and garden that my family once developed as a centre of life. The medial and narrative heritage is reconciled and manifests itself in this place. 'Nightfall' describes the transition to a new phase: The house is filled with new stories, new interpretations, new encounters. 'Nightfall' combines archive images of my grandfather with my own photographs.
